| RBW Member Current Rebreather/s: | Molex/Coax parts source What is the best source for molex/coax bits? I tried the local Radio Shack, but here in the Washington DC metro area Radio Shacks are just big cell phone stores...

| Re: Molex/Coax parts source Do a Google search for PCB connectors, they are 2.54mm or 1/8" pitch, the ones I have are Molex KK series. I get mine from Rapid Electronics (they're a UK supplier though) and just use standard crimp pins. Narked at 90 sell gold plated pins which are a bit better spec. I've not had a problem with standard pins and wiring on my CK but they don't seem as prone to corrosion as other units. In a push you can get a floppy disc drive power lead from a computer shop and just slice the 4th connector off (thanks to Duncan Price for that fix). Not sure where to get coax parts. Cheers, Stuart

They are also used on PC fans. Field-fitted one in Penzance a while back. ![]() Coax parts - mobile phones used to use them? RapidElectronics is my first stop too. Am fitting straight ones though, not the 90 degree ones, so the red cell caps should fit them.
