![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Oxy2.....Multiple recievers? Hopefully some of you Scubapro guys can help with this one. I know an Air Z O2 can only "see" the Oxy2 or the pressure sending unit indvidually. It can't see both at once, it's one or the other. My question is can the Oxy2 be paired with two AirZ's at the same time? That way the Oxy2 would be sending data to 2 Air Z's. The Oceanic computers have a code which is set by the user, so you can have two computers recieving the same data from one transducer. Since the Scubapro units are paired by holding them close and powering them up I'm wondering if the pairing is unit to computer specific, or is it just a wireless signal sent out to any reciever on the same frequency. Anyone know for sure? Thanks, FD ![]() |

![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Oxy2.....Multiple recievers? Hi You can only pair the AIR Z O2 with the pressure transceiver or the Oxy 2. There is no known way to pair an Oxy 2 or the pressure transceiver with two different computers. Everytime you try to add the second computer, you will automatically loose the first one..... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Oxy2.....Multiple recievers? That's kinda what I thought. Each new pairing pushes the old one out. As for the reason why.... I was just thinking about redundancy. I have always carried a backup/2nd computer on OC. It's interesting to compare the two after a dive. With Oceanic, I can set the reciever code in the computers and see the same transmitter. I was just thinking about trying it with my Rebreather. Thanks for your help. FD ![]() |

Mine worked perfectly and the buddy didn't report any problem (i didn't checked it), so i believe i was working. But, as i said, i am not sure. |

![]() | Re: Oxy2.....Multiple recievers? Two wristunits will give you some redundancy, but only on the same 2 sensors in the one Oxy2. For redundancy i would add another cell(s) and a table as backup. I here assume you dont have 2 wristunits, as you wouldtnt ask the question if you had .I would propably go for the rEVO Dream and get a HUD as part of the deal. Another option is a Sharwater, VR3, or whatever according to taste, and money. One thing i never really liked about the Oxy2 is the fact that you can not see the 2 sensors seperately, but only the average value of them. The unit will tell you if it detects a cell failure, but there is no direct access to the "raw" cell reading. My last comment applies to CCR, and is not much of an issue for SCR, which is what the thing was made for. Best regards Bo |

I checked on a video we made at the time, it was some years ago, and ihave found that we fitted two oxy2 to my dolphin, each paired with his airzo2 unit, so i don't know hat two wrist unit can be paired with one oxy2.But, as i said, i am not sure. Sorry for my mistake |
