![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Question - Installing a Dave Mager meter Hi, This should be easy, but as it is me, it isn't. Situation is this - I want to install fourth cell monitoring. I have a Dave Mager meter hard wired to a VR3 Y-adaptor suitable for the Inspiration (all bought when I had an Inspiration). However, I now have an Evo, so it won't fit. I already have a Beanie/Narked@90 fourth cell adaptor (bought when I wasn't sure what I was going to fit), so that part is not a problem. Connecting the Dave Mager to the adaptor is... I am pants at soldering, so am very reluctant to cut the cable to solder on a coax connector, which would be the simplest option. It also leaves me with a completely useless Y-adaptor. So, first off does anyone want to buy (or swap for something similar) the whole shebang? The cell is old, but everything works fine. If not, is there anyone you guys recommend that I can send this to to get the necessary soldering done. As ever, many thanks in advance. Phil

I have a double one and a single one and would like to know the size/hardness of the o-rings. The meter user (in case of flooding) and even beter the schematics for it. I have done my best googling but came up with a few articles that mentioned it but no more than that. Cheers, Rene

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Update - Installing a Dave Mager meter Hi All, Thanks to everyone for the offers of help on this. I took the easy option and sent the meter to John (Narked@90) to sort it out for me. As expected, he's done an absolutely storming job. The quality of workmanship is A1 and it integrates with the 4th cell adaptor beautifully. John even fixed an existing fault with the cable and only charged me for the bits. John - many thanks again for an excellent job and very fast turnaround. Cheers,
