HammerHead O-rings

Hello,

Can someone give me the metric dimensions of the two o-rings found in the battery cap on a metal handset of a Hammerhead ?
Thank you.

Re: HammerHead O-rings

Thank you Joe, but what shore are they?
And it doesn't help me a lot Size 014 and 016 ... what are the corresponding diameter and width?

Yeah, I know, I should have searched by myself before posting.
Here is an interesting link about o-ring sizes: Size Cross Reference

Those are standard o-ring sizes (as568a) dash number. most scuba o-ring kits have them.. for the common sizes the BS designation is the same as well

This is a low pressure static application so the shore rating really isn't important... any common o-ring will work.. I use 75 shora orings, isnce all my oring in my kit are viton whether they need be or not..

Re: HammerHead O-rings

Since we are addressing it: How about for the new delrin sets? Is this in the manual? (Sorry, I glanced at it but didn't see.) Do you suggest lubing the o-rings (so that they can potentially attract debris) or leaving them dry?

Re: HammerHead O-rings

On a related note..... Kevin is having a bunch of screw in cap assemblies (cap, spring & O-ring) for the Delrin handsets made. They should be available in a week or two.

I envisioned one of those slipping out of my fingers and rolling into the water or some other abyss and ending a day or more of diving.

Just ordered a few to keep in the tool box.

i still have the aluminum housing and use Noalox which tends to lube the O rings .... do u use it on the new handsets as well?

Since I am perfect and have never dropped anything in my entire life, I won't be needing any of these for spares.
However, I probably should get a couple just in case my buddy drops his.
