Re: Shearwater Pursuit

I'm running a Pursuit as PPo2 display in addition to the COPIS 2 HUD & wrist display for redundancy.

The Shearwater is clear and easy to use but I do wish it was smaller. I know the GF was even bigger but if it could be closer in size to the X1 whilst retaining it's user changeable battery then it would be damn near perfect.

I do wonder if I have a 'friday afternoon unit' .
On my first two dives sofar that computer has not recorded any dive details at all. It 'knew' it had been in the water as the surface interval time and last max depth were correct, but there is no profile in the log and nothing to download. Most annoying that. Bruce said he had never come across this before, so... has this happend to anybody else?

Anke

Yes! I've emailed Bruce about this in the past, but it was lost in the 'here is a new firmware version, upgrade and see what happens' shuffle.

(not Bruces fault, my fault for not following up).

But I do not get any dive logs either. Everything works as expected, with that one exception...

Have you gotten any more feedback on possible problems?

Bruce has come up with an upgrade now to fix this problem and is being tested.

I've been running .23 without any issues. Not sure if this is GA yet but it looks good.

Re: Shearwater Pursuit

The latest version of the software is always on Deep Pursuit rebreather controller .
The same software for the "Deep Pursuit" is also for all the Pursuit product line.

The latest update (No 23) does not address this issue.

Bruce has advised that another software fix is being written at the moment to address a replacement component that had to be used in some of the new Persuits, which was expected to work the same as the old components, but apparently doesn't.
