| Re: Idiot with a Shearwater Thanks, everyone. The manual says press Menu then Select which is probably where I've gone wrong. I'll try when I get home... I wonder if having a new computer to play with is a good enough excuse for a half day? The manual isn't bad but is occasionally a bit unclear. I had the same problem turning it on as you did. | Re: Idiot with a Shearwater Thanks for the help everyone, turned out the battery was dead, I guess it must've come on in transit. Replaced courtesy of my local geek counselling centre (Maplin). The problem is you will probably break the hammer before the GF It's not a compact piece of kit is it? You know you're wearing one when you've got it on!!!![]()

| Re: Idiot with a Shearwater The GF can feel a bit large especially if you are like me and have short skinny arms! I replaced the velcro straps that came with it with the same elastic straps that are on the Nitek He - made it easier to put on/take off and it didn't slide around on my wrist anymore. Bob |
