hs explorer battery voltmeter

hs explorer battery voltmeter

Hi all,

my hs explorer displayed 3,0V 2 monthes after the last replacment.
I've replacer it yesterday and the voltage display reads 3,4 , the battery nominal voltage is 3,6 volts.

has anybody else experienced the same ?

I've asked gene via e mail he hasd not replied yed.

Did you measure the actual battery voltage with a separate voltmeter? Nominal is 3.6v but some cells left on a shelf somewhere for a long time, may read lower...

yes 3,7 volts load less

the voltage depends on the load placed on the battery.. I usually see 3.4-3.5 on most batteries with the explorer...

Mine had a capacitor turn into a resistor and it went lower then that when I put new in.

Either you've gotten a bad connection in your battery housing or you might have the problem I had. And for that it's gotta go back.

Hi

with this computer it use to be 3,6 V for a short time fter battery replacement and then 3,5 for long but never 3,4 strait away.
the thing is that my last battery only last 2 months , the computer was still working but gene says don't dive with 3,1 battery change it...aving read the f..... maunal for a change ... I replaced it.
how low do you go ith you batteries ?

it depends on use.. I would say I get at least 100 hours of dive time per battery.. sometimes thats a month.. sometimes its several months.. I just change the battery when it reaches 3.1v..
