| ~~~~~ #417 ~~~~~ Current Rebreather/s: | Re: End User Review of Liquivision X1 Update May 2008 Just past the 50 dives mark on the X1. On this last trip, I clocked 17 hours over 8 dives with the longest dive being 4 hours. Ross continues to make the VPlanner Live and the Liquivision X1 the very best multi-gas trimix deco computer in the industry with frequent feature add-ons and improvements. I updated to the latest 3.31 before the trip. During the trip, I updated to 3.41 to take advantage of the bookmark system. Now I can bookmark (with custom labels) specific events (T, destination, turnaround, etc.) along the dive timeline as I make my dive. This really aids future dive planning at the same location. So, all eyes have been on the battery performance. Time will only tell but we must add data points as we progress. Mine was charged fully the night before the first dive. Over the next six days, 8 dives were conducted accumulating 17 hours of dive time on the battery. In addition to the dive time were probably another three hours just reading the logs from it and studying the depths, times, temps, etc. At the end of the trip, the X1 was showing 70% full. This seems fairly inline with my other multi-day trips. At any rate, and what is most important as a diver, I didn't have to worry about charging it during my trip. The battery seems to be, so far, holding up in regards to capacity as well. Thanks to Eric (Liquivision) and Ross (HSS Software) for an excellent product.
