Let me get this straight. This CCR has been designed by someone (???) at OMS and they went to SMI to build it. I would be highly surprised if that were the case.

If I had to guess what is at play here, I'd guess that PR talked OMS into giving him some venture to work on something. Following that I'd guess the same return will come as it did for the others that have done this.

Dont hold your breath. OMS doesnt have a inhouse anything dept. All of their gear in now made in Singapore. Just try to find a made in the USA label in anything other than maybe aircells.

Before the rumor mill gets crazy, OMS and SMI are Trying to work out a releationship. Nothing is in stone. John (owner of OMS) has bought a prism for his personal use. When and if they do become partners on a venture, I am sure they will promote the heck out of it! On a side bar there are people who make after market setups that are more suitable for deeper diving. I am "GUESSING" that thats what OMS will be marketing. Anyone who knows John or Peter or dosnt can just call and ask, this is no real secret.

I sat with Peter and Sharon and ate dinner with them the last day of DEMA. Peter had our undivided attention about Rebreather's in general and his recent sale to Oceanic. Do understand that the PRISM now belongs to Oceanic/Hollis. The OMS RB was no farther along than at the last DEMA. Peter thinks Oceanic can get the price in the $5K range.
OMS, well we will see.
