I have 1 partially used keg of each, but neither is enough to fill my scrubber. ive mixed sorb a few times. Ive just based the scrubber duration on the poorest performing of the 2 sorbs. I mixed them well together. Didnt have any issues - but have no idea if its a good idea or not.....if an axial scrubber you could half fill with one then top of, with Boris I have to mix. I dont know if its a bad idea though - can only say i havent had a hit (yet) the 3 r 4 times ive done it

Just tip it in as my guess is that layered might be slightly better. On other fora I'd expect the dive police will be here soon so tell us it is an untested uncertified combination and is your life worth £8 blah blah blah... Here I hope for better.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Mixing types of sorb?? Sofnolime and Sodasorb? Well, I'm not in dire need of sorb at the moment... I just happen to have two different brands of sorb in use. I'd like to use up one brand completely so that I only need to have 1 type of sorb around. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Mixing types of sorb?? Sofnolime and Sodasorb? Right or wrong I did it also. Diving a Meg with about 90% Sofnolime 8-12 + ~5% Sodasorb 6-12 + ~5% Spherasorb. Did a 4 hour dive in the Devil's system. Inspected the can immediately post dive and had what felt like plenty of life(pun intended) left. I'd prefer not to do it again. It was all well within date. |

I cant imagine why it would cause a problem but like Mike id err on the side of the lowest performance product. I have some left ovr Sofnalime that ill be toping off with Sphera sorb at some point as well. ATB Mark

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Mixing types of sorb?? Sofnolime and Sodasorb? Well, it doesn't *sound* like it will be dangerous. I'll do it sooner for my rather shallow and short dives while I'm still getting used to my unit as opposed to later when my dives get more aggressive. Thanks. |

![]() | Re: Mixing types of sorb?? Sofnolime and Sodasorb? Hi Steve, I 've mixed up the sofnolime and sodasorb. Same reason I had about 4 pounds left over in the keg that I didn't want to waste. Didn't have any issues. |
