![]() | constant ip reg?? hey guys, can the dive rite rg 1208 first stage be converted to a conspant ip reg by just adding the blanking plug like in the ds4's ?? the one i have now already has the cold water kit. thanks for the help Last edited by sidis8 : 28th October 2007 at 19:17. |

I think removing that will have the same effect.

Dave,Harcus's just had 1/8" of the tip of the plastic cut off on his 1st stage plastic "T". Shorting it enough so it does not touch the diaphram. Sidis8 No need to buy a blanking plug. If you have a look at the plastic "T" the end tapers off like a step. Cut it off with a dremel saw or small saw were it steps down. Last edited by hillbilly : 29th October 2007 at 14:11. |

That sounds painful Nah...it IS important to make sure it doesn't touch the diaphragm, what would happen if that diaphragm were to be punctured? One could become "partially IP'd"![]()
