Ligst and algae can du that, and even provide you with the O2.....Something like a filter, so less bulky and no need to refill. Just need the size to get down..... Hows that for Rebreather: only Carbon-waste preferrably in diamonds. Here honey, and a long dive today, made you some ICE ![]()

![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: The perfect rebreather I can see it now, Hi Jason--Unrealistic idea-- Authorities: OK Mr Manufacturer, what does the diagnostic download tell us? Manufacturer: It says the controller ****ed up and killed him. Authorities: Hands behind your back now sir, you're coming with us. Manufacturer: It's a fair cop, society is to blame. --Reality-- Authorities: OK Mr Manufacturer, what does the diagnostic download tell us? Manufacturer: It says the equipment was working perfectly. Authorities: Thankyou very much sir, on your way now. Manufacturer: (Wipes brow and keeps quiet) Cheers, Jason. He he, I see your point. But look at it this way then: Rebreather manufactures produce sophisticated life support systems that we rely on. Unfortunately, we sometimes loose a fellow Rebreather diver and the source to the accident is seldom found. In my opinion, we are guinee pigs and no one are actively doing anything to log what causes accidents on the units (correct me if I am wrong) except for laboratory experiments and skilled test pilots. If we don't set any demands to the manufacturers, we will unnecessarily keep loosing fellow divers. It is impossible to correct something if you don't know what went wrong! Example: Here mr. diver, this a new well tested unit, take it for a dive... The diver goes in the water but doesn't come back. 1 month later they find him, but the unit is now in bad shape and they are not able to locate the problem. They believe it was a faulty valve, so they change the design. Then they give the new model to another diver, and he goes in the water. He doesn't come back either! A month later they find him, they can not see the problem but believe it has something to do with the software. So they change the software and put in in production again.... They give the unit to a new diver and...... and so on.... Maybe we should demand that the rebreathers are monitored and logged, this way we could learn x10000 faster. Safe diving Christian

![]() | Re: The perfect rebreather First of all we will only build a rebreather that will set the rules as it fails for the next one to be designed. So for me the perfect rebreather would be the one by which we could learn the most from when it fails. After a test or failure most if not all the components used should reveal upon inspection the information needed to determine if it did or did not contribute to the cause of any problem or failed test. The dive computers and PPO2 electronics are at the top of my list. Most of these on the market today are shrouded and protected secrets. The fact that they're an unknown variable in the problem solving process is just an unexceptable idea in true research. The perfect rebreather is one that can be completely studied on every variable. To remove a potenial component or system from consideration will never yeild a 100% confidence in a failure analysis report. So for myself the perfect rebreather is one that can always be completeley studied. Perfection is and always will be something that can be improved upon once witnessed. always learning, Ray |

Caveseeker7 acquired the full rights to the Jumanji unit, and I am sure he would be upset if you got away with taking credit for all these "revolutionary" specs.Caveseeker7? Where are you? You see what is going on here?
