You need a screw driver to remove the counterlung case (until I fit latches to mine).Sometimes without even asking Err, well the quick opening scrubber lid sometimes opens when you wish it wouldn't.![]() |

Thus I'm looking for ways to design my Rebreather parts so that they can be disassbled by hand, or at most with simple common tools like a screw driver or shifter. To be honest Marek I thin you are worrying unecessarily.I have not bought any new tools for the SK or CK, neither need it. Having looked at most other units on the market there are only a couple of times "special" tools are used, mostly for major services not for routine stuff, if you have the tools you claim, you are already well equiped to deal with an off the shelf rebreather IMO. I think there are more important reasons to select your rebreather than whether or not something you do once a year or less requires a extra tool. And I have to agree with Phi, certain parts should NOT be quick release, in case the self-release!!! Good Luck. BEN
