![]() | Hi all What is the Interstage Pressure for the O2 cylinder on the Inspo? My belief is that its 7.5B and this is absolute, not relative to ambient??? Thanks |

Sorry to be thick, but does that mean absolute or above ambient, i.e. at (say) 30m would the delivery pressure be 7.5B or 11.5B ? the pressure is set on the surface.. guage is absolute less surface.. the regs are depth compensating and this difference will be maintained.. it should always be 7-7.5 bar above ambient.. but the reg really isnt linear and it will generally creep up a bit..

Isn't this why non-environmentally sealed 1st stages are recommended? Or do they just creep more?Nick, the O2 IP on the KISS is fixed & isn't depth compensated. |

Nick, the O2 IP on the KISS is fixed & isn't depth compensated. enviromentally sealed stages creep more than enviromentally exposed regs... I have never had any trouble with sealed stages but I always set my IP to 7 bar and use good batteries.. A potential problem comes into play where the battery doesnt have enough power to open the solenoid but appears to have enough voltage normally..so the solenoid fails to operate and doesnt generate a battery alarm.. make sure the IP is checked/adjusted with 50 bar in the cylinder.. on a full cylinder (above 170 bar) the IP may increase by up to 1 bar....
