Thumbs up CCR Cave course in Thailand

Hi all,

Just to let you know that the first CCR Cave course in Thailand just finished a few days ago. It took place in Pra Daeng Cave (Khao Sok 1) in the Kao Sok National Park north of Phuket.
It was also the opportunity to train several OC cave divers and a new cave Instructor from Hong Kong.

Cheers

From Left to Right:

Andrew Fortune (OC cave diver, Phuket), Ben Reymenants (OC Cave diver, Phuket), Paul Nielsen (OC Cave Instructor, Hong Kong), Cedric Verdier (CCR/OC Cave IT, Worldwide), Spencer Coca (CCR Cave Diver, Malaysia).

Most of them are proud members of Rebreather World. Even the OC divers!!!

Well done to all.

Stu, is there any way we can allocate a spot to instructors so that we can let people know when advanced courses are on?

Cedric i would like to applaud you on your recognition of your student's achievements. While it is only a small gesture, i think its often overlooked. I know that the department that i work for was criticized for not making enough effort for the PhD students who had finally passed their examinations after at least 4 long years. I think its very easy for people to forget that these things are important (even if done in a small but relevant manner).

I wish there were an emoticon for envy.

Congrats to those of you who don't use a pink-meg. Unhappy with my so-called mate who decided to keep me out of this picture.

Re: CCR Cave course in Thailand

Hi Cedric,
Looks like a top spot and a great course. When are you running the next ones (caving / rebreather / whatever)? I'd drop things quicksmart and fly to Thailand (from Perth, Australia) in an instant..
Have a great Christmas / holiday season / and safe 2007 everyone!
Cheers,
