On May 17th Cedric Verdier reached a depth of 200 meters using the Meg and Mike just below him at 191 meters using the Ouroboros rebreather. Bruce Konefe and Thomas Bodd where staging tanks and support divers. Dive started at 12:25 and we where all out of the water and on are way home around 9:00. pm. Very long day.

I just spent one month in the Philippines scoping out the situatiom. I traveled around Leyte and Dinagate island speaking to the older people that where there during ww2. We believe that there are around 6 wrecks sunk in the Straights. We are discussing what are next move is going to be.

Well done guys.

What's with the time discrepancy: 8hrs on the boris and 6 on the Meg (according to the other thread)?

Hi all,

Time and depth discrepancies are easy to explain and have nothing to do with the instruments (we have all VR3s).

I just went a little deeper and Mike prefered to stay a little longer.... That's it.

Both units (Meg and Boris) performed flawlessly, and both divers as well...
Both units are standards units (axial scrubber for the Meg), and both divers as well...

More dives in the next few days and a full trip report next week.

Cheers
