Hi Maxime,

south-west of France starts around Toulouse and spreads until Atlantic.

Sur, depending on from where you're looking at the map, Gourneyras isn't really in south-east, but in the south (far south ).

Fred is happy you like his views. Interesting to know that it was his first dive there and he didn't knew the cave before.

Some more views, but not the same quality (mine) but inside same cave.
Maybe one of the most "floridan style" cave we have here

Cheers,

Frank

Great shots! I guess this is just another destination I'll have to put on my list of "places to go."

Great pictures! Thanks Frank!

This cave is amazing but getiing equipment down (at least to push it) is a bit of work since it requires to set up a cable car.
Also you need to watch out for rain since it can easily pickup into a soaring stream and then you do no want to be on deco during that time :-)

There is another cave near by called Gourneyrou which is also nice but the tunnels a little smaller and more ups and downs.
Also about this cave you can check our website

I can't remember which cave it was, it wasn't Gourneyras) but it was one in the Herault, that I was trying to find when it started raining. It was a fair way off road, at the end of a limestone canyon and I've never been so glad to have a 4x4, ended up in a river that wasn't there 5min earlier. I seriously doubt if I'd have made it out on foot.

Still didn't find the cave

Cheers,

Stuart
