The HUD is a nice tool, but when I had my siltout, I couldn't make out a 21w HID pressed against my mask/displays. I do wonder if a HUD would be visible... maybe so, Im not sure.

Its always interesting to see the options/idea's on here.

IIRC, Cohran was working on an in-mask HUD computer system a while back.

That would be perfect for silt-out situation since you could still see your depth (and PO2, etc) despite whatever is going outside the mask. If they incorporate compass heading too

, then you "fly IFR"...
