Nah I think with CCR its the other way around.

For every 'life-threatening-screw-up-that-scared-the-crap-out-of -you-so-much-the -experience-is-forever-embosed-on-your-memory-and-you-will-NEVER-EVER-make-that-mistake-again', you actually gain one 'CCR life'.

A very "Cup Half Full" atitude, I like it.

By the way I was looking at your photo (banner) where have you put yut HUD? Have you plugged into your fullface (Stealth CCR style?)

he he!

Well being the highly qualified and professional engineer that I am, I bodged it up using the body and lid of an old marker pen and some longer bolts.

Like many temporary 'fixes' around my house its, well, become a bit permanent

To make your own,

Unscrew the HUD body from its arm by removing the two bolts
Take one marker pen (preferably black), remove the lid and put a hole in the lid top with a knife.

Take a sharp dive knife and cut a piece of the plastic body of the pen to the same length as the lid. Remove and pen labels.

Hunt around a small thai town holding in your sweaty hand one of the original hud bolts and show it to lots of bemused local people who dont speak english whilst trying to get them to understand you are looking for someplace in this one horse town to buy two that are the same but a bit longer.

Once purchased (still cant belive I managed to find some) Put the longer bolts through the arm, slide over the pen lid and pen body and screw bolts to HUD.

Next morning test your hud arm by taking it to 200m in a cave.

Hope that helps

We had quite a lot of fun doing that, right? And what about the saw to cut the long trash bin that were supposed to be the habitat?

cheers

Great job Mike !

If you don't mind me saying so regarding the photo above: plug your spare O2 tank QC6 before you go in the water, they are a pain to do uw under pressure

Keep on the good work and good expeditions, may the force be with you guys on the Yamashiro
