Re: It could happen to anyone who dives

hey mate,

first of all, i must say i am really glad that you are with us today. it seems you were quite close.

am shocked as well by your story. i am still trying to link the bends between you and your friend. do you think that there might be something else involved? i mean you told us that you were doing the laundry a few times, but as you were hosted by that female friend of yours, (if i understand correctly) did you exersice any other activities?

how can one put it? i mean, you are in a paradise, you dive every day, you hit it at nights, probably endlessly doing your wild thing, going out, then the next day diving and "stocking nitrogen" on the body, do you think there could be a link? i mean your friend had something similar?right?

maybe i am wrong.just trying to find a link cause if your gases were right, and you were ok on your deco, then its a mystery. another question, i take it you always had your computer with you, right? so your computers should be calculating your previous dives. do you think there could be an error with your computer's software ending in wrong calculations? did you test it along side another computer?

there must be a link. i will be watching this thread cause i find it very interesting. again, glad you are safe.

reading the rest of the posts now, its sad that i hear this thing with the whole. i am sorry for asking, but i feel i am missing something here. do you mean that the whole was always there, and nobody found it before, or you developed that in a latter stage? i hope you do find your peace of mind with the therapy for it. just makes me curious now. we must start a new thread about what would be the best medical examination for Rebreather diving and especially trimix, long and deep diving.

other than that, one thing it for sure. i dont think they'll grand your the "bonaire holidays - best promoter / advertizer prize".....

Take care.
