![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Roberto Delaide - fatality i have been reading the posts from other forum members and i would like to ask. how fast things happen when you breath caustic coctail? according to a couple of posts, i am thinking that from what i read in case you have a leak in the unit and somehow you inhale "caustic air" then from what i hear is happening to the neck, trachea, larynx etc, there is no point if you have a bail out stage or not.. this thread is dedicated to Roberto so if you think is better, please start a new thread on this very important matter. i would personally like to hear more from the more educated and knowledgable Rebreather divers on this. Again, my sympathy to Roberto's family and friends. Spyros

Current Rebreather/s: | Re: Roberto Delaide - fatality For a while now i've been content to read, and not write so much anymore especially on the Italian web site's, so i'll post my condolences here for Roberto's family and friends, many of who are also my friends. I hope, as i'm sure many of his friends and family do, that some light may be shed on the reason for this tragedy and maybe prevent a similar thing happening to someone else. dive safe everyone...... Nick.
