Would you mind taking a picture of the mask's inside and either adding it to the article or post it here in the thread? I'm curious how it all looks from the other side. ![]()

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Hi Gabriele, I had a conversion made which allowed me to use my OC/DSV ("Bob Howell") with the AGA. My biggest problem was with equalising! Have you got a solution to this? Or does your nose fit! It is great having the thing on - you feel bullet-proof! Bailout is fun though...

Or does your nose fit! As you can see by my avatar, that lil' plug wasn't close to covering my nostrils During my first dive I either equalised one ear or the other, not both. What a PITE that was. Solved the problem by getting a larger, thick piece of neoprene (at Kirby-Morgan when dropping of some stuff ) and simply zip tying it to the top of the plug. Works perfectly. ![]()

Pretty expensive the original hoses from APD (but you could switch your standard hoses to the FFM). I was lucky, I found an used AGA in a very good shape... I bought it from a real good friend of mine... he is from Canada. I think you can t use your apeks reg on that mask: you are going to need a smaller and lighter regulator... but you could ask to Tracy at Divematics. Bye gabriele |

Bailout is fun though... probably I am lucky in equalising with AGA... even though I have serious problem to equalise on helmets, standard equipment helmet and FFMs (I NEED to well close my nose to do it) I feel comfortable to equalise on the AGA mask. Of course, I cannot scooter straight down diving my AGA.... I need more time to equalise, I need a little bit more effort (using one hand on the mask)... but I can do it without any further difficulties. that s another reason why I bought an AGA. bye gabriele |

I'll give it a go. Not being able to equalise killed the project. You are very lucky Gabriele. ) and simply zip tying it to the top of the plug. Works perfectly. ![]() I also find my face too narrow for the AGA - I needed to ram it on to get a good seal (which forces your mouth shut - not good when Toxing!). Anyone else have the same problem and are there any good solutions to it? (other than plastic surgery... )
