Question Drysuit underwear for the UK/Ireland

Guys, I'll be moving over there soon, and I'm curious about how much underwear is needed. At the moment I have an Otter Arctic 300, but I'm worried it being overkill for warmth and too bulky. Is it possible to use something slightly lighter for extended dives????

Thanks,
Robert

Obvious I know, but it kinda depends on your tolerance of cold, your drysuit and your dive durations.

I'd consider a 300gm ideal with a trilam, for runtimes in the 90-120 minute range.

In summer you *might* get away with something like a 4th element. Everyone is different, suck it and see!

Probably out of date to post on this one now but after "doing it wrong" the first time when I moved back to the UK from the Middle East here goes:

First undersuit I tried was a Weasle compact - after advice from local dive shop. After hearing great things about the suit I was dissapointed - and cold when using it with a trilaminate drysuit!! Things inproved with a 4th element undersuit - though I find the leggings a bit restrictive.

Have now switched to a Weasle Extreme and am warm all year round. In winter I use the 4th element under it and then loose the legs through late spring and the top in the summer months. Fine up to 90 mins in water (hey I am not yet using a Rebreather - one on order!!)
