![]() ![]() | Guys, I'll be moving over there soon, and I'm curious about how much underwear is needed. At the moment I have an Otter Arctic 300, but I'm worried it being overkill for warmth and too bulky. Is it possible to use something slightly lighter for extended dives???? Thanks, Robert

I'd consider a 300gm ideal with a trilam, for runtimes in the 90-120 minute range. In summer you *might* get away with something like a 4th element. Everyone is different, suck it and see!

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Probably out of date to post on this one now but after "doing it wrong" the first time when I moved back to the UK from the Middle East here goes: First undersuit I tried was a Weasle compact - after advice from local dive shop. After hearing great things about the suit I was dissapointed - and cold when using it with a trilaminate drysuit!! Things inproved with a 4th element undersuit - though I find the leggings a bit restrictive. Have now switched to a Weasle Extreme and am warm all year round. In winter I use the 4th element under it and then loose the legs through late spring and the top in the summer months. Fine up to 90 mins in water (hey I am not yet using a Rebreather - one on order!!) Steve |
