Was I the only one that noticed the errors in it? Like misplaced decimal points on that first mix calculation step-through? There were a few other minor ones that I can't describe right now as I do not have the book in front of me at work, but I am surprised errors obvious even to a rebreather beginner like me to me were not caught by the editors.

In general, EXCELLENT reading, especially when Mount goes through the "what if's" on rebreather failures. Aside from the mix calculations, I would think it is appropriate for beginners, too.

I also noticed several errors in Bruce Weinke's Technical Diving in Depth book. Very irritating to someone who went to college to be a marine scientist. Stuff like "greater tidal changes at lower latitudes." This in fact is exactly the opposite. There are greater tidal changes at higher latitudes, such as the Bay of Fundy.

Oh well, I guess I should take the initiate and report it to the authors instead of whining about it here.

I remember speaking to Joe Radomski from ANDI who said that they were working on a technical rebreather book. Anyone any idea how close this is to being published (and hoe to get hold of it)?

Had A long chat with Joe (90mins international to my cell phone, glad he was paying;o)) a few weeks ago about a number of different things including ANDI's new rebreather texts.

It sounds like these are gonna be top notch.

Try PMing Joe about more precise release dates.
