Custom Divers HID Lamp

Does anyone have one of these umbillical lamps, 10watt HID? If so what are your thoughts?

Re: Custom Divers HID Lamp

I had two (one for back up - and needed it regulary)
have since had a ballest go down and will cost around £90 to repair
(new lamps are also around the £90 price)

If I had not spent colse on £900 for both tourches I would defently like to look at some of these new L.E.D tourches.

Re: Custom Divers HID Lamp

Been using one for about 7 years - had the umbellical and bulb changed once - bulb my fault - dropped the head !!

Reliable, long burn time and a nice white beam of light (not especially wide beam).

I would recommend one.

Re: Custom Divers HID Lamp

I have the handheld model. Solid and nice 13° beam. But my buddy bought a led light and it's definitely better. Whiter light and further penetration in the dirt.
