![]() | p valve or nappies? Hi all, I have to plan quite long dives this year (about 5 hours underwater), and I don't know which solution is the more easy for natural evacuation .I am not confident with making one more hole in my DUI CF200 , and I think wearing nappies could be also very boring.... What is you idea about the best way to go? Wich p valve should I consider? (I have seen the o'three one), considering my drysuit is in CF 200 material. Thanks for help

Thanks for help P-Valves is the only way to go.... Balanced with a quick disconnect... The only way to go.... They can be installed in less than 15 minutes. Swimming and or walking around in wet nappies... Well... How much fun can that be... ![]() M |

Not sure which one it had fitted, but nothing flash i think it was the old style Halycon one with the brass nut. ATB Gareth

I thats the same as mine, bar i have a quick connect/disconnect and i also have a one way valve half way down the hose and it's unbalanced. Been to 115m with it attached to my jammy todger with no probs so cant honestly see the need for balanced. The only thing i found is its best to start the flow a bit before opening the screw. Quick-disconnect valve is the answer to that :-) What I don't like is that some p-valve manufacturers use really thick inflexible tubing, which is a little uncomfortable. I think the new Halcyon one is more flexible, unlike their old one...! |
