Re: Salvo Mojo DPV

$4200 and $5000, you can order at salvosupply.com

I believe the N-19 costs around $4000 so the price is comparable

Brilliant!

A lithium powered scooter, with a grip shift trigger! Competetion for Submerege indeed.

Anyone gonna be stocking them in the UK?

It's unlikely that anyone outside of the US and Canada will be stocking it with the Li-ion battery as it is illegal to ship it AFAIK. There is talk of other battery options which would get around that issue.

I'm hoping Barry has them at DEMA so I can have a good look at them in the flesh.

Re: Salvo Mojo DPV

Divingniknaks stocks Salvo's Lithium battery lights, so they must be able to get 'em over here somehow.

If I remember correctly, it's not illegal to ship Lithium batteries, but they are a Hazmat item, so there are controlls and protocols.

All sorts of HazMat gets shipped and transported around the world, not sure why this would be any different.

I'll ask DNN and see what they say.

My experience shipping large Li-Ion batteries is that it is not illegal, but it is more expensive and difficult.

Our X scooter battery is 30 ah at 28 volts, so it easily exceeds the allowable minimum for passenger aircraft.

Domestically we use a Haz Mat carrier, and Internationally we use freight forwarders that handle Haz Mat.

Re: Salvo Mojo DPV

Has anyone had a chance to test ride either scooter? I'm interested in a review and comparison to its competition.
