![]() | Re: New Meg Radial Scrubber i was just talking with ISC about ordering a new copis meg with the radial scrubber instead of the axial and was told it would be a $500 upgrade, in my mind well worth it

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: New Meg Radial Scrubber I have to say that after my second trip with a prism diver, that radial scrubbers seem to be worth their weight in gold in terms of sorb use and airline overage getting too a remote destination. Our friend with the prism consistently uses about 30% less sorb than we did, in part because starting a second day of diving with the deepest dive first was plausible on a radial that still had half it's duration left while the axial was consistently too far gone to feel safe taking it on a additional demanding dive. the two things I want to add to my copis are a needle valve and a ISC's radial scrubber.

![]() | Re: New Meg Radial Scrubber Hello Outlaw, the unit in the picture is the twinmeg built by Tom Jaspers from the Netherlands, trimiX.net. He uses aluminium 232 bar cylinders, 3 ltr in black paint. I spent a week's diving with this guy and he's really incredible underwater with this VERY heavy unit. Johan |
