![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Anyone got any experience with these? How do they compare to the Solus and Mbsub offerings? Anyone know whether the switch is on the light head or the cannister, its not clear from the website? What depth rating do they have? I've Still not got myself a decent light (been out of the water for a while with a slipped disc anyway )Thanks, Neil

While Salvo puts out some good stuff word on the street is there are some teething issues on the new LED primary lights. I would wait a bit till it gets sorted out. ![]() ![]() | Re: Salvo Rebel LED lights The 9 and 12 watts led have the switch on the head. But the 21 watts canister light has the switch on the cannister, just like the hid models. On the sheet paper, it seems that the lumen range is equal to the solus 1250. But the light come from one single ostar led in place of an array of led. Wich system is better, i don't know. But it would be great from salvo to put on the market a led with focusable beam. |

![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Salvo Rebel LED lights Shameless self promotion..... i disagree there was a question about direct comparison to msub The question was about Salvo lights. How do they compare to the Solus and Mbsub offerings? so a link to a review of msub was useful (well it was for me anyway) |

One advantage the Solus lights have is the through-the-case charging (a BIG advantage to my mind). I like the Salvo's multiple output level facility too though. ![]()

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Salvo Rebel LED lights I have one of the new Salvo 21W LEDs and am very happy with it to this point. Here are the things that I like about it... Made by Salvo and therefore awesome customer service Head size is about the size of a 10W HID. LEDs seem like they will take much more of a beating... Burn time options along with the light intensity control. - During a long cave there is no reason to have the light burning at full blast during deco. While inside a wreck in tight quarters there are times when my HID 21 has caused way to much backscatter. The intensity control is a nice option. Just my two cents. M |
