Veecam settings

Sadly my one crashed on its first dive

I came up with a no camera attached warning and i couldent switch the camera off. I unpluged the cable and froth was comming out the end

I had to just lett the battery run out as the buttons just stoped working.

Sent it back today and have everything crossed that i get it back and working for next weeks French gig.

I understood that the unit has only two settings:
1. Dry & Working
2. Wet & Not Working

yep.

i had one that lasted the first 2 mins of the first dive. Apparantly a duff battery !!

Be very very careful as the 1yr warranties are not transferable so basically don't ever buy a second-hand one as you will have to cover any repair costs !!

I am informed a fault has been identified in the video head. The heads are being replaced with potted internals. I didn't get my unit back in time for France but I am also told ill have it in time for the deep wreck trip in Scapa (70ish M) So that will put the upgrade to the test.

My veecam too came up with the camera apparently not attached. I've been shown some nice photos of what the replacement camera will look like, lets hope it works as good as it looks. Waiting with baited breath, but not holding it.

Mine is gone for repairs ( stop working just on surface not even pointed to water ....) two month ago . Since then no emails , no info . Called them , got reply that repir center in Scotland keep silence........unbeleivable.
