Hiya,

Great pics but something wrong with your site I think.. the Google ads are overlaying the pictures on your first link

Re: How do you mount your light?

Thanks for all the feedback. I think I'll simply give it a try and mount the canister to my O2 bottle. The only thing I don't like about this is that my light canister becomes the most exposed point of my rig. I guess I just have to be careful when I go cave diving

The main reason why I want to move it away from the belt webbing is that I want the extra weight further up on the rig, so that I can improve my trim without adding extra weight.

Re: How do you mount your light?

I just found this old pic of my Inspo showing the canister torch inverted. So if it hits anything in the cave its just the base of the can.

I do the same on the KISS but obviously it on the 02 tank now.

Re: How do you mount your light?

Hi,
I use both left & right hand Kent Tooling pony brackets
on one side I have a steel 3lt bail out & on the other 1.5lt
suit inflation cylinder & on the inside of the bracket I fit my
2x A12 battery pack with a small cam band then route the
lead through the straps on the lungs, nice neat an balanced.
Well that works for me,
Andy

Re: How do you mount your light?

Marc,

I mount my light canister to the backplate vertically on the right side using Quick Links or stainless flush backplate screws from FE. It is better protected than mounting it to the bottle, and it doesn't make switching bottles a bear. I invert it so the switch is facing down, or aft. This makes reaching the switch easy.

Re: How do you mount your light?

For my canister, i drill hole in bracket and buy ss bolt with flat head bolt on my inspo case, it work and cheap!
