Any idea if they are rebreather parts? Yeah, they are demilled LAR-V's. Missing major parts and being sold as scrap. Now we know that the US Army pays about $1800 for them new (they always post the original purchase cost in the description). So much for the $10K Government-Cost LAR-V's..... sensibly enough, they cost the Army less than a Dolphin, which makes sense because they are less complex to make. Dave .

![]() | Re: Anyone recognise these? Anyone buy from one of these auctions before, if so, any idea what this type of stuff goes for? For novelty scrap parts and a metal case it might be worth it. Bill |

As Dave said, no shipping. Pick up or arrange a shipping agent. Once I had to get a local sheriff involved before a**hole shipper would ship me my goods that I’d paid for and he’d picked up. Guy had left the compressors in the rain & reed valves were ruined. ![]() 2. You’re up against genuine pros. This is one major source surplus dealers buy stock. 3. Auctions do not end at stated time if there is any recent activity, ie, no sniping like ebay. Designed to squeeze out every last nickel from bidders. That said, some cool stuff does come up, but vast majority is worn out garbage.
