No Problem With This Has anyone got one of these If the solenoid sticks open, you can shut it off and run it manual SCUBA Diving Equipment and gear for Technical, Wreck and Cave Diving: Dive Rite, Inc - Product Catalog - Solenoid Inline Shut-off Is there one to buy in the UK? Is it possible to make one up? Not my idea, adrenalin_junkie told me about it |

![]() ![]() | Re: Solenoid stuck open! No Problem With This Why not control it with the valve? I think thats easy enough. That thing could just cause more problems IMO.

No Problem With This I've been told running a Rebreather by opening and closing the cylinder valve is very very hard. It's a piece of piss as long as you can reach the cylinder valve. It looks like adding another piece of kit to fix something that doesn't really need fixing, or can be fixed by practicing a skill. I dive every now and again with all the valves switched off for practice, blowing dil in from an offboard reg, cracking the valve for O2, it's a hassle but it's really not taxing at all.Yes its another failure point.

Duuhh....I seem to remember doing most of a dive in that mode at the end of mod 1. I thought that was a standard drill.
