actually I would have to, yes, but the much easier way is to grap the hose on my left shoulder and pull the second stage around my neck after I released it from the bungee.....
Sounds complicated, I know, but I practised it more than one time and it works without any hussle entanglement or whatever.....

But in the end, as I said, I´m still not completely happy with this setup....

I don't have mine in a bungee. I tuck it under my exhale counterlung out of the way. It doesn't seem to dangle and would be easy to pull through if necessary.

I haven't practiced this yet, but I'd donate it direct by pulling it out and giving it to the other diver. Then, I'd close the dsv, take the loop out and pass off the rest of the bailout reg hose. It's long enough for that two stage approach.
