Whats about Atomox Inc.?

Hi,

after another three weeks, i have no answer from atomox. bad business! Iam afraid I have to engage a lawyer to get the units or my money back (if at all).

If you used your creditcard then have a talk with your bank. I think you have to do this within 100 days if you want to get your money back (that's the rules in Sweden at least).

I was just in the process of ordering one, too.
Now I fortunately found this thread.
I think I have to spend some more money and swap to Analox or NRC.

Did your ordered units arrive?

Today I send the first email (first contact) with my inquiry, until now no response.

Hopefully you and all others will get your analysers.
I really would like to order one because my instructor is using the same since 6 or 7 years without any problems. So at least the quality of the product seems to be good.
And of cause the unbeatable price, which is worth nothing if not delivered

Atomox seems to be out of business without notice.

We sent money for six Helioxanalyzers Sep 16th 2007 due to normal and responsive mailcontact,
then communication went quiet without any further notice,
no notification about any deliverydates, nothing.

Nobody answers the phone,
website is still active.

I got tired of no response to multiple emails and no response to multiple phone messages. I lodged a complaint with my credit card company for a refund.

I have certainly grown more cautious of purchasing anything from vendors selling within the CCR and Technical diving arena. I have never seen so many instances of poor or non-existent support, warranties and recognition that the companies success and profit is a direct result of the consumers money. I am not just referring to the small one owner companies but also some of the reputable ones touted on this and other forums. It like the wild west of retailing and truly the phrase "let the buyer beware" applies.
