I learned this LINK from the same topic thread on TDS forum, thought it was brilliant to learn and share some key words with dive buddies.

Pornography, Phi, pornography. Even after ten years of mix diving, I still don't get bored on stops

That's all I need... Read below:

We dive this 72m wreck on most week-end, it is located inside the anchorage zone so lots of container ships always around us.

About one week-end a month, a US Navy battle ship or a huge supplier ship would anchor close by. And there were always 2-3 speed boats with big machine guns zooming around these ships to prevent ANY boat from getting within 1km radius.

One time, we were anchored and diving definitely more than 2-3km away from the ship, yet they called the UAE coast guard to complain.

So we ended up spending 7 hours back at the UAE Coast Guard office getting interrogated by the UAE "Naval Intelligence" (dressed in white dish-dash ) of the exact reason why we are diving a wreck. And had every single piece of dive gear on the boat examined.

Of course, this was a few months after burning down the dive boat when one of the YBOD units ignited. And had to be rescued and sent to the same Coast Guard office.

Now...

I wonder how much trouble I would get into if we ever end up in the same Coast Guard office again with pornography material... Might as well and get a good

I'd rather a paranoid government office caught me with some quality French fine art magazines than a dodgy looking underwater communication system

Speaking of which...

I am still trying to figure how to "smuggle" in a nice set of military u/w com system that I could get my hands on - as all intercoms systems are prohibited here.

We had a hard time explaining the X and Gavin scooters on the boat were not "torpedoes"...

And, BTW, forget the Frech fine art magazines, go for the really-nasty ones. If the water is too "cold, at least you get a good laugh instead.

I assume it's too big to wrap in a condom and swallow? What you really need is a couple of gullible students on a gap year... just carry that through customs for me, love... No, I don't know her, never seen her before in my life. Prohibited military equipment? Me? Don't be ridiculous, officer. What would I be wanting with that? Now about this bottle of 24yr old Glenmorangie and well stuffed brown envelope that I seem to have just found, is it yours, constable? Because it certainly isn't mine... Ahem...

That's a good rule for most people to live by.

I thought that too when I saw one in "The Abyss" about 20 years ago.
Remember Ed Harris banging away on a keyboard strapped to his arm ? Cool.
Although he did seem to have a problem with the huge gloves and midget laptop keyboard.
I wonder if that movie would be considered prior art when it comes to getting a patent.
Makes me wonder what happened to the liquid filled rebreather.

I remember that liquid filled rebreather. At the time I thought that it was very cool.
Not any more, My goal is to keep the liquids out of my lungs
