Could one turn down and re thread a scuba valve and use said combo for rebreather use? We did that a few years back for a client. Only problem was the valves came in without a saftey assembly. Hence we could not sell them in the USA except to military who were exempt from DOT rules. Suffice to say i have a box of them ....... The main problem was getting the right oring for the boss of the valve fitting to the bottle. It takes a little tweaking. I've been using them on some wrap bottles seem to work well. JDS |
