| Re: Tank boot for Luxfer Alu 3 liter bottles? Is there any boot for ther Luxfer tanks in 3liter size? Divelife do one that should fit, I would think. The bottles have flat underside and not rounded like steel bottles. Cheers,

| Re: Tank boot for Luxfer Alu 3 liter bottles? I have previously used a shroud from an old (i guess it was a similar size to a UK D4) scubapro torch for this. Fraid i can't remember which torch it was but the boot fitted very well. |

Hi fredrik,Anyone have any ideas or experience where i can find it? I see that you look kinda desperate looking for smaller size tank boot. Perhaps my idea might help - I use plastic container kinda like Tupper ware if you are familiar with kitchen stuffs. There are available in many sizes and colors from various manufacturers. Attached is one of my 30s alu. with the container acting as Boot. Remember to drill small holes at the base in order to drain trapped water. Hope this helps Wei Lan Last edited by SINUS; 16th March 2007 at 00:31.. |

Since we are on the discussion of mini tank boots, I had an inquire about tank boot for Faber 19 cu. ft. (3 litre) tanks. Does anyone have any suggestions or sources (except the Tupperware idea Wei ;) )? |

Try Divelife (see my post above). I would think that they'd work on Ali as well as Steel, as they have flat bottoms inside and out. Cheers,
