| Head Dishwasher ![]() ![]() | Just got GreenForce F3 and HID100 Impact....Goodman handle Issues Love the Light, Love the Battery, Got the Battery right in the sweet spot on my rig... but the Goodman handle sucks.... 1: is the goodman handle a have to have item? 2: and how are people attaching the head to your harness? There is no simple way to rig a clip to this light head. Thanks in advance James |

I'm sure due to popular demand, I love my greenforce torch, but took one look at their goodman handle and laughed!!! ![]() Might pay you to see if they do one for the HID-100. Otherwise, make your own. Just a delrin "clip", screwed on to a metal plate, with elastic running through it. |

| Re: Just got GreenForce F3 and HID100 Impact....Goodman handle Issues With a bit of line and a quick search of knots (or if you know a sailor) you shouldn't have a problem affixing a clip to your cable at the light head terminus. Best, Offgas |

So take the delrin clip off the Handle and mount it to my own plate????![]() Might pay you to see if they do one for the HID-100. Otherwise, make your own. Just a delrin "clip", screwed on to a metal plate, with elastic running through it. That seems like it would work.... what about something that holds it to the back of my arm? |

Please Advise. |

There is no simple way to rig a clip to this light head. Thanks in advance James HA HA HA HA HA ...... no kidding. The lights are great the handles suck. On my first GF light i took the handle off my old AUL head and put a mag-light clip on and that solved the problem. But that light got stolen. Randy who used to work for me at TDL now works at Manta. We sent a real goodman handle to them to fabricate but that was 3 mos ago and still no new one. I finally went to one of our clients who makes lights and had him send me two stainless steel handles. They arrived just today. I put the mag-light clip on and now i am happy. I like the guys at Manta and the folks at Green Force but they are clueless to how to hold a light underwater. The soft "low profile" handle only works well if you lock it down tight over a gloved hand OR you hold the head in the palm of your hand and use the strap as a ... well ...strap. Best option now while Manta makes a better handle is to put the Dive Rite goodman on it -- use a U clamp to hold the delrin connector to the handle and it will work fine i am sure. Cheers

| Re: Just got GreenForce F3 and HID100 Impact....Goodman handle Issues Hi James, I threw the handle in the cupboard because is was crap. I simply fastened a cord around the body of the lamp and have it hanging off a clip over my shoulder about nipple height - works for me, easy to drop and easy to get back hold of when you need it. | Re: Just got GreenForce F3 and HID100 Impact....Goodman handle Issues I saw this soft goodman handle at the diveshow today, £28 for a tiny peice of stainless and a bit of elastic - waste of money I thought. You could make your own easily enough. Just my two pence worth. John |

| Re: Just got GreenForce F3 and HID100 Impact....Goodman handle Issues Bought one of the green force handles a while ago, used it once or twice. It now does a better job collecting dust on my shelf than it did as a torch handle. Ended up going for one of the Kent tooling handles which was a lot better. www.divingproducts.co.uk Some of the guys I dive with use an octo guard as a make shift soft handle which seems to work pretty well. |
