Not everyone is a super CCR diver I am just a newbie trying to play around with a project and learn something with the help of the so called expierenced divers from a good forum.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Pierre. My honest advice, get off the internet, go do some practical measurements. The sensors should demonstrate a LINEAR progression in output for a LINEAR increase in PO2. So if you get 10mv output at .21 PO2 (atmospheric output), at 1Bar you expect around 47mv, at 1.6 you expect about 76mv. (10/.21*PO2) the reason you're getting the comments you are is that its better if YOU do the thought process, it aids your understanding. None of this is rocket science and skipping the basic understanding just hinders you downstream. Hope that helps /Z

I will have a spare cell by tomorrow to do some tests on and hopfully have some more answers. Till now the HUD circuit is running but only on a bench, next thing will be will a cell and not with a power supply. Will let you know the results hopefully! | give a man an inch....... ![]() ![]() Current Rebreather/s: | Quote: (Originally Posted by Padowan) Interesting. they are in Mv but they are scaled values they are supposed to be the mV value of the cell in airOn a YBOD, with R22-BUDs in, when I calibrate (ie expose the cells to 100% O2) I see readings on the handset of something like 1.03 0.94 1.04. After the reading stabilise it goes "CALIBRATING" then I see displayed 1.00 1.00 1.00 or there abouts in dive mode which is the calibrated PPO2. OK. NOW I was told that the reading that you see immediately BEFORE the calibration message are the mV outputs from the cells (divided by 10) so in the case above I am registering 10.3mV 9.4mV 10.4mV for my cells in 100% O2 environment, and these numbers have very slowly dropped over the year that the cells have been in, indicating a gradual decay of the cell... Have I been mis-informed? If these numbers are NOT the mV in O2, then what are they?
