AAAARRRRGGGGGGGGHHHHHHH Much as I hate the thought of adding rigid parts atop the CL fittings on my Dolphin, ... It seems to be the only option if I want to be able to turn my head. I'm in need of a pair of elbows like on the Tecme site. Anyone have a set they aren't using and would part with? Darlene |

Brent. My manual says Dolphin and the S/N on the unit and manual match. It's the later model scrubber cannister with the fill line on the rod and black CLs. The ID of the CL fittings is 36mm. Thanks in advance, Darlene |

Darlene I know the feeling... But if it is to any comfort to You, I have grown to like mine quickly. I had about 5 dives with a backplate adaptor before I got the elbow adaptors from Tecme. Every dive I was annoyed with the short breathing hoses because I was not able to turn my head. And what was much worse: On the fifth dive, I somehow managed to get the little rings, that keep the exhale hose from collapsing near the counterlung, out of position. 10 minutes into the dive I started to get symptoms of too much CO2 in the loop (I started to be afraid of things like the darkness surrounding the wreck, falling of the wreck, caustic cocktails, etc.). Fortunately I had previously read Ron's post "change your scrubber", and I recognized that I was in troubles (thanks Ron!) and bailed out. I still dont like the way the elbow adaptors stick out of the top of the Dolphin, but it is so nice to be able to turn your head without being afraid of displacing the rings in the hoses :-). And so far I have not had any problems, excepts cosmetic, with them. Morten |

Wrong size, these are for the heavy brass/plates counterlung connections. My manual says Dolphin and the S/N on the unit and manual match. Give Martin a shout, I'm sure he can sort you a pair fairly quickly. Brent.
