Neoprene Hose Covers

Who makes neoprene loop hose covers?

Need 4 pieces to cover the hoses on my CIS, neoprene for insulation and so they can be cut to length (CIS Hoses are remarkably short).

Re: Neoprene Hose Covers

Hey Dave,

I have a couple of sets of new ones to suit the Meg. They are 2 at 15 inches for the Tee piece to the can and 2 at 16 inches from the Tee piece to the DSV/BOV.

They're probably a bit longer than what you're looking for but you can always make a couple of sets from them.

Let me know if you want a set and I'll get them off tomorrow.

Regards,

Lance

Is it dil that you have connected to the off-board inflator on the exhale lung? If so, what is the purpose of it? Is the ADV fed from the same bottle?

Re: Neoprene Hose Covers

Hi Dave,

if you like I can ask a friend of mine, who do neopren covers for anything on rebreathers, just give me the dimensions (length, diameter). If he can make them quick I can bring the covers over to you next month.

regards
Holger

Re: Neoprene Hose Covers

Toeman or anybody who posted on this question.
How much for two 24 inch neoprene covers? I would like them sewed and glued when there made. The quality of the ones pictured above look very good. They have to fit around copper hoses which are 1 1/2 inch thick.
Cheers Frankie
Email address alohafrankie@juno.com

P.S. Dave if you get some made let me know who you ordered them from and we can put an order in together. Just call.
Cheers Frankie

I see the bubble wrap and the great condition that the unit is in and think that it might be a display model or something. But it is interesting.

I have just noticed the BOV, so that hose must be feeding it. However, is it the off-board gas as the hose next to the bailout cylinder suggests?
