small steel tanks with CTC rating

Hi,

I am running out of options for the small steel tanks with a CTC rating for use in Canada on the rebreathers.

I could go with the aluminum if there is no other steel option but would sure like to find a source in Canada.

I see XS Scuba carried the Worthington Pony Series but they are discontinued.

Does Faber make anything for the cause that has a CTC rating on it?

Re: small steel tanks with CTC rating

OK that was easy ... long story but the short of it.

Curt McNamee informed me that Blue Steel out of the US has the Faber LP 19's and 13's with a CTC rating and have had for some time now. I called Bud Allen of Blue Steel and he is going to set up the local dive store with a dealer app. The store had been getting their tanks from OMS and they didn't enlighten her about Blue Steel.
Solved ... thanks Curt

Re: small steel tanks with CTC rating

The Worthingtons are galivanized, the Fabers are not. I have some of both, but I like Galivanized a lot more as a retester than I like any other cylinder.

I'll see if I can shoot Worthington an Email as a few years ago I had a long chat with the QA engineer.
