Re: heated vest wanted

I have given some thought to a heated vest also. Dive in cold waters of Lake Superior among other places. Doing some looking around I found this vest.
I don't know of anyone that has tried one, but looks interesting.

I picked up one of the vest above to try this year. I have worn it sking and figure it will be great for diving also. I'll let you know how well it works in a couple of weeks.

I have a heated waistband that I no longer require.
Not a full vest but it is bloody good.

PM me if interested.

Try Golem Gear. Golem Gear, Inc.

They are a sponsor of Rebreather World and they have a very nice vest.

Re: heated vest wanted

I'd check out your local motorcycle shop.

I bought a motorcycle heating vest from a local motorcycle shop for less than $100 (canadian). I put an Impulse female bulkhead connector in my suit and a male Impulse on my canister.

It works extremely well. My vest is about 35W, which is plenty for me. Some people I know are using up to 75W.

I'm in the process of switching it over from Impulse connectors to EO so that it is compatible with my video lighting. It will be rather slick to film a wreck, then on deco unplug the video lights and plug in the suit heater.
