Re: Rebreather tank valves?

There´s another german site: AIRCON Tauchtechnik - Jesteburg - Tauchtechnik und Sicherheitszubehör zum Verkauf über den Fachhandel
You have to go for air-valves because in the EU the Nitrox-threads are not standard-DIN.
These air-valves can be easily converted to be compatible with 100% O2.
These valves fit into EU-standard cylinders with 25 mm thread, maybe they also have valves fitting to US-standard cylinders, check with them.

Hi Curt, thanks for the post, good to know that the Preece valves are available from more than 1 source. FYI, your address doesn't come up when I pasted it into my browser, even with the www that I think you left off?

Which kind of valves do you have, the one's with the ball or without and how much are they? Thanks, -Andy

Hi Andy,

Nope, the URL I posted is correct, no "www" needed.

The valves I currently have are the ones without the ball. If Preece have changed production to the new style, I guess that's what I'll receive in my next order.

The US price is $140 plus shipping (and MD Sales Tax, if applicable).

cheers...
