![]() | Submatix Oxygen sensor problems Hi, I am experiencing problems with the the oxyscan sr22 3 pin sensors on my units. They are very tempremental on startup even when brand new out of the packet and often give an error reading. Can anyone suggest a cost effective reliable alternative that will fit in the sensor holder? The sensors measure 29mm dia by 20mm high. Thanks Phil |

![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Submatix Oxygen sensor problems Hi Phil, It depends a bit which Submatix cell holder you are using. Within the first single S-Con type cell holder you can use a Teledyne or better an AI, because they are a bit smaller. The dual S-Con cell holder requires the special O2 Cells from Submatix. Two R22 or AI types are too long for it. The new cell holder above the inhale CL uses some custom made AI cells. Before Submatix started with AI Cells, they had their O2 Cells from a German manufacturer. I had a lot of problems with some of these cells. One production series had a huge problem. The cell was already dead on arrival, or died after 1 or 2 weeks of use. Best is to contact them to get an exchange for your faulty cells. DINspiration |

Were these cells from a company called I.T ???? Regards Aaron. |

![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Submatix Oxygen sensor problems Were these cells from a company called I.T ???? IT Gambert if I remember well, rebranded with the name "Submatix SR22". I sent back two of those to Submatix, and got sent back a couple of AI cells instead. Please not the Submatix SR22 cell takes its name because it's said to be compatible with a Teledyne R22. What I found out is this: where you can place a Teledyne R22, you can substitute a Submatix SR22. However, the reverse is NOT true. The SR22 is a couple of millimeters smaller in diameter. For example, in the P-Port cell holder that mounts on the counterlung, the Teledyne R22 does not fit, even after taking off the label and trying to remove some material with a sharp knive. You have to use either a SR22, or much better, one of Martin's PSR 11 39 MD-SX. Tip: if you come accross a submatix SR22, gently peel-off the label, the manufacture date is stamped below it directly on the cell. IT Gambert specifies a 12 months warranty period. Just email submatix with this url and the cells, they'll send you new ones. |

Actually, that first single cell holder existed in two types, S-Con connection or regular P-Port style. The one I have is a regular P-Port, and the Teledyne R22 does not fit. |
