This is gonna sound lame but- how about a Really Cool Picture of people diving rebreathers.... I know I know, might be difficult as some of us a back-ends-of-buses. Might add abit of glam for the passing surfer thats all.

Also- would it be possible to have a "most recent topics by forum" display where by the logged in user could see if anything was posted in the areas they are interested in? For example mine might say- New posts- 312, New Posts in KISS Forum- 2 so I could go directly there first?

To be honest there isn't much wrong with the site Stuart, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" springs to mind :-)

I like that idea of picture - I am thinking of a slicker portal type thing same sorts stuff plus blogs but kinda slicker you know - think front page of Yahoo! or something...

Could have a block on front page which you select what you want from forums shown in there or something.

I may just not know how to do it, but it would be nice if there were an easy way to view all of the threads that you had posted to so that you could keep track of responses and keep the thread going. That may sound really stupid, but I don't know the best way to keep track of the threads that I'm involved in.

I think the easiest way to do that is to set your control panel to subscibe to the threads you reply to - so you are emailed when it is ubdated if you want or you can just view them from your control panel.

Just my €0.02...but I think a nice picture may be great for a new visitor but to a returning visitor it's just using bandwith.
I like the galery a lot. Every now and then I see something that makes me click and wonder... I hope something like this can stay. It forces me to wander of the beaten track every now and then.

I think the front page should have content that doesn't take a 5 meg downlink to load in under a minute..... not that this site does.

And I may be able to do this already but would be nice to have quick links to my PMs, susbscibed links, new posts and my favorite/hot threads on my home page. Seems like I'm also going back and forth to the CP to get thread subscriptions to see if there are new posts.

Another cool feature is if we can edit our smiley list. That is, if I can have my favorite 20 smileys on the right of this window instead of opening and downloading the super list of smileys.....

The CP green thing is open to abuse by pals on here why not make it post of the week or thread ?

The front or home page with the jazz on should be what search engines and visitors find, no reason why there couldn't be a different entry point for subscribed members (low bling version? :-)
