Problems using the "New Posts Since Last Visit"

option. It seems that most times it doesn't give me any results but when I go to "New Posts From Last 24 Hours" I find a bunch that weren't there the last time I visited. Could it be a problem with logging out as I don't log out everytime I leave the site?

It is a software limitation with Vbulletin - If you dont log out but leave your browser open after 15 minutes it assumes that you have chosen not to read any new posts and marks them as read. It is why we implemented the 24 hours and 48 hours option.

mine does it when I fire it up

open up Rebreather World click on new posts (which shows a number of posts in my little box on the front) then i get nothing when I get into new posts

Well, at least that's one problem I don't have.
Luckily, since I don't have the 24/48 hrs buttons.

Any fix to this yet except the 24h and 48h buttons?

I am so accustomed to read every board I visit with that show new post option. That 24h and 48h button feels so clumsy

i have noticed that sometimes when i log in i see that i have lets say 20 new posts but when i click to see them it will tell me there are no new posts...

If there is a fix I will willingily implement it - I have checked all the Vb admin sites and not found one.

A botch is to change your logout time due to inactivity but that introduces all sorts of other problems.

I am all ears.....
