i think what someone was referring to was adding that site's hostname into your hosts file as 127.0.0.1.

for windows nt, 2000, xp, see c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts

Download a copy of hijackthis from http://www.hijackthis.de/ and scan your computer paste the results on the hijackthis webpage and it will tell you what part of the registry has spyware. You can then delete the approiate registry keys.

All is well here now too on Apple's Safari browser, I am glad to report I no longer intend on committing ritual suicide by rebreather.

Mozilla Firefox doesn't have this problem. Give it a try, it's a great browser!

Every browser had the problem - in no longer has the problem as I deleted the service ;-)

incidently I along with 18% of our visitors use firefox!
