Customise Your Blog Look and Feel

OK then got the next blog add on installed and working :-)

It is very powerful but not the simplest thing to use. Basically you can edit your template, to create a personalisied look and feel to your blog / web space.

You need to log onto the admin section of your blog then boogy over to your control centre.

At the bottom of that page you will see Blogs Template Editor. click on that and it will transfer you to a page which lists all the installed templates. find the template you are using and hit the copy button - this will copy the template to your local blog and enable you to edit it!

When you have copied it - scroll down to the bottom of the page to see it - now yo can see a little icon with a pencil on!

Click on the pencil icon, and you can edit your template. It is very powerful and basically gives you an edit screen to the raw code, so look in the:
  • style.css file to change headers, font sizes etc etc
  • header.template file - to edit the header
  • footer.template file to edit footer
  • panel.template to change the side panel
Hell you get the idea! Have fun folks.

Stuart
